Current Morning Skincare Routine

I’ll be honest, trying new skincare is one of those things that just scares me. I’ve always had sensitive skin, so I get nervous to try new products in fear I will break out or have some type of reaction to them. I’m one of those people who will do all the research on products before I buy them. I’ll watch a 100 Youtube videos and look up everything on EWG before I buy something.

I have a few brands that I trust and over the years my needs for skincare have changed obviously. Prior to kids I had extremely oily / acne-prone skin and now my skin is really dry/dehydrated, I’m seeing more fine lines (sigh) and sun spots (ugh). The last few months I’ve nailed down some products that I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin’s brightness and hydration so I wanted to share in case you’re searching for new products to try.

Vitamin C Serum — I’ve seen such a huge improvement in the brightness of my skin in only a few weeks of using this. I have a lot of hormonal redness from pregnancy / postpartum and under it is some old acne scars and I’ve seen them lighten up so much. HIGHLY recommend this product!

Facial Lotion Bar — I’ve been obsessed with this lotion bar for a few years now. This is the perfect daytime lotion to wear under makeup because it’s not super thick but also gives you a ton of hydration and a subtle glow.

Get $10 off your own lotion bar here.

Supergoop Glow Screen — This is def has a cult following for a reason. If you have super oily skin, then you might want to try the Unseen formula instead but overall this is a really lightweight SPF and it gives the best sun kissed glow. It’s SPF 40 (which is amazing) and it will blur any imperfections so I never feel the need to wear foundation overtop most days. However if you plan to do a full face of makeup this will be so beautiful under makeup to give you some extra glow.

Until the next time,
B
