I have been obsessed with my crock pot lately. People are not lying when they say its so damn easy! I found a really good recipe on Pinterest for pot roast and oh my gosh, it was delish. It is not your typical pot roast with vegetables, I mixed it up a bit.

You will need:
Serves 4-6

  • 3 lbs pot roast
  • 2 cans of golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package of onion soup mix
  • Optional: Add any spices you like. Pepper is good!
  1. Mix wet and dry soup together in the crock pot. 
  2. Add beef into the crockpot on top of the soup mixture.
  3. Cook on low for 8-9 hours (or on high for 6 hours).
  4. When your beef is tender and pulls apart, your beef is done. Yes, its really that easy!!!! 
I whipped up some mashed potatoes and a side salad and it was the perfect, rainy day meal!
