DETOX DAY 6

Only one more day left!! Holy moly!! Day 2 I literally thought I wasn't going to be able to make it through 7 days but after day 3, the days went by so fast and I was starting to love what I was eating (even though it was the same things everyday!).

Do I need to even say at this point? :)
I took this picture at my bar cart and I really wanted a orange pellegrino. Maybe next week?


Breakfast
I didn't eat "breakfast" which was my homemade salsa until 11:30 a.m. I just drank warm lemon water all morning and honestly I wasn't very hungry at all today.


Snack

I keep forgetting to take pictures of my bananas...haha!!


Lunch

This lunch was super random but also SUPER filling. I had a bag of frozen brussel sprouts so I steamed them and added a small amount of apple cider vinegar - weird I know. I can't say that I loved it but I just ate it and I was so full all day.
Note: During this detox you should eat fresh vegetables but I didn't have anything in the refrigerator that I wanted. 



Snack

Yummy, yummy, honey dew melon. I actually cheated and had 2 slices!


Dinner
I was too lazy to go to the grocery store so I steamed some frozen asparagus with and squeezed lemon juice. The frozen asparagus wasn't good at all but I was still pretty full from lunch so it was OK.


Snack
I decided I'm not going to eat a snack because I'm still full from all the food today. I've noticed each day I've been on this detox the less and less I'm hungry throughout the day...or should I say hangry. Let's face it, day 2 I was so hangry ALL DAY LONG! {hunger + angry = hangry}

One more day to go!!!

  1. I'm proud that you're really doing this cleanse and going for it! I definitely don't have enough self-control and I get hangry and a regular basis even without detoxing!
