DETOX DAY 3

Today was much easier. I don't know if it was because I was at work and extremely distracted but I felt more positive, tiny headache but not unbearable and of course I have the support of my co-worker who inspired me to do this detox. Her results after the detox week and weeks after have been amazing and it's really motivating to help me continue to push through.

"Pre-Breakfast"
Lemon water prior to leaving work.

Snack
Yes, I skipped breakfast. Yes, that is not healthy but the morning totally escaped me.

Lunch
I combine my breakfast with the salsa I made on Day 2 and it was a really filling lunch.

Snack
I didn't have time to eat my snack at work, so I came home and had the rest of my pomegranates.

Dinner
My dinner was so, so, so good. I steamed broccoli and asparagus and squeezed lemon over top. Oh my, so good! Asparagus with lemon is going to be a staple in my recipes from now on.

Snack
I already started to eat my snack and its a bit early in the evening but I really wanted some honey dew melon. I will probably head to bed super early tonight mainly because I'm tired but also so I won't be tempted to eat another slice of melon!

I hope your enjoying my food diaries! I will say, I feel more inspired today but I am looking forward to Friday :)

  1. Love following along! Detoxes and food eliminations always get easier after a few days to a week. Hopefully today is even easier!

    1. Thank you! It gets easier everyday but I'll be happy to add new veggies, fruit and protein next week. :)

  2. If my detox consisted of eating pomegranates all day I think I could finally commit to a detox. Except....only if someone peeled all of them for me! Hope the rest of your week goes well.

    1. I love poms!! Try peeling them under water in a bowl...it literally takes minutes to get them out and its not messy at all. After I found this trick, I was able to eat poms a lot more!
