FAVORITES: JULY 2014

Wow, I was looking back to my most recent posts and realized it has been some time since I've done a favorites post. So let's get started...

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

Tarte - Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation

I've talked about this before but honestly, this may be my all time favorite foundation. I haven't used any type of liquid foundation/BB cream since September 2013 and trust me, I don't miss it. This foundation is great for oily skin, offers amazing coverage and has great packaging (especially compared to Bare Minerals).

2. Equate Self Tanner

This self tanner was all over YouTube earlier this summer and I had to get my hands on it. I love trying drugstore self tanners and since it was compared to one of my favorite high-end self tanners, St. Tropez, it was a must-have. I originally purchased the spray formula and let me tell you, it gives a great, even tan. Yes, it is a pain to apply but the color makes it worth it. Due to convenience, I decided to purchase the lotion formula and it is also a great product. The color is not as rich but its easy to apply and gives a great glow once you wash off the guard. If you hate buying high-end tanners, you have to try these products.

3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Benefit Cosmetics - Hoola

This is every makeup guru's favorite bronzer because its that good. It is the perfect matte formula, lasts all day, great for contouring and has a lot of product in that little box. I've tried my fair share of bronzers and this is by far my most used and holy grail product.

4. Revlon Lip Balm in Honey

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain

You're probably sick of me posting my love for this lip balm on Instagram. If you haven't tried this line, go get some now! If you plan to only get one color, without a doubt you have to get Honey. It is the perfect everyday, nude lipstick. It has that "your lips but better" color and I literally wear it everyday. I keep one in my purse, one at work, one in my car (yes, that sounds a little obsessive) because this color goes with any look and any outfit. If you try it and love it, leave a comment so I know I'm not the only one.

5. Purple Shampoo

Shimmer Lights Original Conditioning Shampoo

I don't have a favorite brand but in general, if you have blonde hair, purple shampoo is a must in your shower. It takes away any brassiness and keeps your blonde looking bright and fresh. My hair tends to get very yellow and I use a purple shampoo once a week just to keep the color blonde and bright.

If you try any of these products, leave a comment and tell me your thoughts!
