DIY: WHIPPED BODY BUTTER

While I was waiting for my flight to depart this morning from San Francisco to DC, I watched VlogwithKendra's DIY video on this whipped body butter and knew I had to try it.


This recipe literally takes 5 minutes or less (my kind of DIY)!

Things you need:

  1. Coconut Oil (preferably organic) 
  2. Vitamin E Oil
  3. Jojoba Oil
  4. Aloe Oil (I did not have any but add it if you have some)
  5. Optional: Essential Oil (to add a scent). I did not add any as I love the smell of coconut oil!
  6. Hand mixer or Cuisinart Mixer. 




Steps:
  1. Add as much coconut oil as desired. I added 3-4 heaping tablespoons. 
  2. Add combination of oils. I did not measure these, I likely added a teaspoon of each. 
  3. Start mixing.
  4. Add mixture to a jar or container.
  5. Voila! You're done!
Yes, it's really that easy!!

It is so moisturizing and luxurious, especially for a night time moisturizer. If you try this, let me know how it turns out and happy DIY-ing!! :)
