MAC Cleanse Off Oil is the first oil-based makeup remover that I have used so unfortunately I do not have anything to compare it too. I bought this oil at the MAC store for $30. I know there are several oils at Sephora and even the drugstore has come out with similar products.

The description on the MAC website says "An industry-strength oil-based makeup remover that's gentle on the skin. Botanically formulated with oils of olive fruit, evening primrose and jojoba seed and absolutely 100 percent mineral-oil free. Massages onto the skin to loosen all makeup, including waterproof mascara. Emulsifies into a lotion-type liquid with water: rinses off easily, no tissues required - and no residue! Protects with vitamin E. Skin softening and conditioning. Good for all skin types."

Rub the oil all over your face, dry then add a little water for it to emulsify and turn into a creamy, white liquid. Many bloggers online say that it completely removed their mascara, including waterproof mascara. For me, it does take off most of my mascara (regular and waterproof) but it makes my mascara stick to my face it will not come off unless I use my Proactiv exfoliator.

Since I have not tried any other cleansers, I'm not sure if this cleanse off oil works better then others but I do really like it. When I have finished using this cleanser I want to try the Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil. I've heard a lot of great reviews on YouTube. If you have tried this cleanser or any other ones, please let me know in the comments! I would love to hear from you and we can chat more about beauty products!
