Last year I had a life changing moment when I watched Leighannsays "My Defined Brow" Tutorial. Before then I honestly never thought about my eyebrows, I got them waxed or I tweezed them myself. When she starts the tutorial with no product in her brows, I was shocked how different she looked (she is still gorgeous!!). I immediately ran to the mirror to check out my brows. I noticed my brows were a little sparse so I went to Target to get some of the products Leighann recommended. Since then, there has not been a day that goes by that I have not filled in my could say I'm obsessed with all things eyebrows! Here's some products I've used and what I thought about them.

Bare Minerals Frame and Define: Brow Style ($15)
I love this product! You get a twist up pencil you never have to sharpen and a spoolie on the other end. I'm lucky that the color light works for me because this product only comes in two colors; light and medium. I have medium to dark eye brows but since I dye my hair blonde I like to lighten my brows with product.

Maybelline Define-a-Brow ($6)
If I could still find this product in stores it would be my go to brow pencil. Any brow pencil I don't have to sharpen is the kind I like! If you can find it in stores definitely pick it up.

Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil ($8)
I love that this pencil has a spoolie on one end vs. the Maybelline Define-a-brow has a comb. Unfortunately this product did not work for me because the pencil is too soft and smears on my brows.
ELF Eyebrow Kit ($3)
You can't beat price for a tinted brow wax and powder. I personally feel like powder is the most natural way to fill in your brows. I especially like using this kit because the tinted wax makes it easy to fill in the sparse areas and it gives the powder something to stick too. If you are just starting out filling in your brows this is a great less expensive option.

Revlon Brow Fantasy ($6)
I was really excited to try this product because it would be my first brow gel. Long story short, I was not impressed. The pencil is really waxy and did not stick to my brows and the gel had a reddish tint to it. I would not recommend trying this product.

NYC Eyebrow Kit ($4)
Similar to the ELF Eyebrow Kit, this kit comes with wax which is clear and a powder. I am not a fan of this kit because the powder doesn't last all day and has a lot of fall out when putting it on. Although the clear wax is nice to keep your brows in place all day.

Milani Brow Fix ($7)
I love, love, love this kit! I first heard about it through Casey Holmes' YouTube channel and I knew I had to try it. Not only is it perfect for brows because it comes with two colors so you can mix them to get your perfect shade but it also comes with a highlighter for under your brow bone. I tend to travel a lot for work and when I cannot pack a lot of makeup I bring this to serve as my brow kit and my eye shadow. I will use the highlighting shade all over my lids and a mix of the two brown colors in my crease. This product is worth trying especially for a duel purpose, low maintenance makeup look.
Leave a comment if you tried any of these products or recommend any different ones. I'm always looking for new products to try because I love eyebrows!!!
